Biography

Meet teté, the Toronto-based musical force, is blending Brazil, England, and Mexico into a vibrant sound cocktail. Starting in jazz at 12, she’s establishing her debut EP, mixing neo-soul, R&B, and Latin beats. She fearlessly creates a dreamy yet punchy vibe. Her debut single, “I Will Not Stay,” dropped last spring, and since then, she has released a Saudade, a collaborative project with Beatcave and Achanté. Her second single, “Marshmallow Moon,” was released in September of this year, and now she’s performing in Toronto and Mexico more than ever. Her performances are whimsically fresh and feel like a warm afternoon in late spring. She primarily performs her unreleased music and teases the crowd with her upcoming projects.
