Canadian singer Joanna Mohammed, known as Aphrose, is a prominent R&B/Neo-Soul vocalist, epitomizing Canada’s musical excellence. Her music seamlessly blends vintage and contemporary Soul elements, resonating across eras.

Beyond performance, Aphrose weaves personal narratives of love, loss, and familial intricacies, paying homage to R&B/Soul’s timeless legacy. In 2023, her music gained global exposure when Black Entertainment Television (BET) featured her video “Roses” on BETSoul. “Good Love” secured a spot in the CBC Top 100 Searchlight Competition, while “Roses” was handpicked by CBC Music’s “Songs You Need To Hear” series.
